Special Features

An image of Tut’s death mask is the Wild symbol in this game and like most Wild symbols it substitutes for all other symbols to help contribute to winning combinations on the reels. Landing just one of these symbols on the reels will trigger the Mystery feature where you will be awarded either 1 Hieroglyph, an Extra Wild, or an instant cash prize ranging between 25 to 2,500 coins.

If you land 2 more or Wilds on the reels then you will trigger the Tut’s Twister feature. Once activated, Tut will then choose 1 of the Wilds and transform it into a twister which changes one of the reels into a locked Wild reel. You will then be awarded free respins with the locked Wild reel pulling each Wild closer towards it as Wild symbols ‘walk’ across the reels. You will keep receiving respins until there are no Wilds on the reels and for every 3 Wilds that act as Walking Wilds, you will be awarded a multiplier prize. It starts at 2X and increases by 1 for every 3 Wilds that land during this feature.

The Tut Twister feature continues as long as 1 Wild is still walking on the reels. When there are no Walking Wilds left then you will trigger the Last Chance feature where you will be awarded 1 extra respin to try to continue the feature. If no Wilds appear on this respin then the Twister will scatter all of the Wilds accumulated onto the screen and award a final win with the accumulated multiplier.

As you play the game, you will notice a bunch of hieroglyphics at the top of the reels. Each reel has its own collection of 3 to 5 hieroglyphs and when you will fill a reel’s collection then you will trigger the Tut’s Twister bonus feature on that reel. Theme, Graphics and Sound

The graphics in this game are absolutely outstanding and what we are accustomed to when it comes to Yggdrasil Gaming slots. Tut’s Twister takes place deep inside the tomb of Pharaoh Tut with lots of jewellery, gold, and diamonds surrounding the ground and you will spot Tut himself looking quite menacing as he stands next to the left of the reels. Symbols are nicely polished and consist of Jewellery, a Pendant, a Scroll, a Ring, and the typical Heart/Spade/Diamond/Club icons. The animations are exquisite as you are treated to a superbly produced intro video when the game kicks off and the Twister animations are a joy to witness whenever the Tut’s Twister feature triggers.

The music is atmospheric and of the epic variety. It fits in really well with the ancient Egypt theme of the game.

Our Verdict on Tut's Twister

Tut’s Twister is made by Yggdrasil Gaming and is an action-packed adventure set deep inside Tut’s tomb full of riches. This game features a visually stunning presentation, jaw-dropping animations, and a wonderful mix of bonus features. Although the game looks pretty complicated to play, it is in fact very easy once you start spinning the reels. The Respins with increasing multipliers trigger quite frequently and if you land a few Wilds in a row then you are guaranteed a big cash prize on the reels. One minor gripe that I have about this online slot is that it does not feature any Free Spins whatsoever. In terms of variance, I found this slot to be Medium so you can expect to start landing decent cash prize wins as soon as you begin to spin those reels.
