The first feature to mention is that there are in fact 3 Wild symbols. The first one is the classic Wild symbol and this is represented by an image of the word ‘Wild’ with a nicely detailed green and yellow frame surrounding it. The second Wild is the Respin Wild symbol and this is depicted by the fairy queen Goldwyn with a purple background. The last Wild is the Free Spin Wild and this is illustrated again by the fairy queen Goldwyn but with the word ‘Wild’ below her. All 3 Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except the Free Spins symbol. Keep a close eye on the classic Wild symbol as it is the highest paying symbol in the game and if you are lucky enough to land 5 of these symbols then you’ll be treated to a fantastic payout worth 25X your original bet.

Goldwyn's Fairies features a nifty Wild Respin mode and to trigger it, all you need to do is land the Respin Wild symbol on reel 3. When activated, all classic Wild symbols that are on the reels will become ‘Returning Wilds’. The reels will then respin and the position or positions of these symbols will remain Wild for the duration of the spin. That is not all as any Respin Wilds that land will trigger one more respin. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous as the game takes place deep in a magical woodland setting. The reels are displayed in front of a variety of green leaves and branches. Symbols are made up of the 5 fairies as well as a selection of beautifully detailed jewels. The animations are top-notch as symbols dart along the reels rapidly and then pop and breathe into life whenever you land a win.

The music is melodic, soothing, and full of soft piano beats. It complements the fantasy theme of the game nicely.

Our Verdict on Goldwyn's Fairies

Goldwyn's Fairies is produced by Just For The Win and it's a fine first release from this software developer. The game is simply beautiful to look at and really easy to play. The features are highly rewarding, especially when you land an Extra Wild on a Returning Wild, when this happens you can expect a massive payout! The game is of Medium variance and although it took me quite some time to trigger most of the features, it is entirely worth it since the payouts can be highly lucrative.
