Casinos in Las Vegas

Las Vegas features some of the finest architecture you will ever see and it is definitely the only place in the world where you can see the Eiffel tower, the Colosseum, the Statue of Liberty, and the Taj Mahal all in one place! So when you land in the city of Sin, what Las Vegas casinos are actually worth visiting?

The first one worth recommending is Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel. This fine casino has been around since 1951 and it features an old school authentic setting and was one of the first casinos to introduce carpeted floors. It's also where the World Series of Poker was born and it is held here on an annual basis.

New York New York is exactly what the name says on the tin, a casino inspired by the city of New York! It features landmarks that resemble the Empire State and Chrysler buildings and a hugely impressive 45 metre-tall replica of the Statue Of Liberty. This casino is famous for featuring an extremely popular rollercoaster that is decked out to look like a New York taxi cab and it goes inside and outside the casino. Definitely worth a trip there just for the rollercoaster ride alone!

One of the most popular Las Vegas Casinos is The Mirage. This casino/hotel is one of the most impressive looking on the strip. It features one of the biggest free-standing marquees in the world and it is connected by tram to another casino/hotel called Treasure Island.

Caesars Palace is one of the oldest and best casinos in Las Vegas as it has been around since 1962 and as you can tell from the name, it is heavily influenced by Roman times. It is famous for its stunning replica of the Colosseum and it has a world-class entertainment venue that has featured a variety of performers down the years such as Cher, Celine Dion, Elton John, and even former President Barack Obama back in 2009!

We saved the best for last as the Bellagio is the most luxurious casinos of all on the Strip. Believe it or not, it is inspired by a lake town in Italy that goes by the name of yes you've guessed it....Bellagio! It opened in 1998 and it is famous for its professional poker room as many top players come to this casino on a regular basis and the casino hosts many World Poker Tour tournaments. The casino also features a beautiful Fountain of Bellagio that needs to be seen to be believed.
