Scottish teacher wins £2.5m in slot game

A teacher from Scotland turned into a millionaire overnight, after winning g £2.5m in an online casino game. The winner, a single mother from the Western Isles, placed a £2.50 bet in an online slot game, Festival of Lights Vegas, in William Hill’s online casino.

The teacher, who wishes to remain anonymous, stated that she wants to use the money toward a kitchen extension and a new dishwasher. “I’m glad I have the half-term off to get my head around it,” she noted and said that she will take her time to decide on how to invest her winnings.

William Hill confirmed that this was the biggest win in the history of the online casino. The game which triggered the win is a jackpot slot game, developed by Blueprint Gaming. The teacher is said to have won the sum on Valentine’s Day. Furthermore, she has reportedly won £30,000 at William Hill three months prior to her second win.

The mother has booked a trip to Disney Land for herself and her 7-year old son and expressed her surprise at winning. She described the moment she won as surreal and said that she is still stunned.
