Unibet are never slow to miss a good opportunity, announcing recently that they would be streaming Global Offensive’s PGL Major Krakow to live stream an incredible 80 hours of footage of the event while offering betting markets for the event. Unibet was the location of choice for esports fans from the 21st to the 23rd of July when this event took place. Unibet are looking to get ahead of their competitors in the booming esports market which is beginning to gain a lot of popularity among sports fans across the world. Unibet are really showing their intent to please sports fans with this announcement.

Unibet are making history

This event marked the first time in Unibet history that they provided live streaming coverage of a top esports live event on their UnibetTv Twitch channel. Unibet expected that a lot of punters and esports fans would tune into the live stream of the PGL Major Krakow. There is a lot of money being pumped into esports as organisers anticipate that esports will go huge in the next few years. In June, tournament organisers held qualifiers around the world and there are 16 teams who will compete for the massive $1m prize pool which is on offer. The outright winner of the event will receive $500,000, with the runner up picking up $150,000.
