Betfair has signed a partnership with Italian football giants Juventus FC. This deal will further increase Betfair’s brand profile in Italy. Betfair will become the club’s new official gaming and betting digital partner. Betfair is no stranger to Italian lifestyle, as they have been in Italy for almost a decade. They will now be Juventus’ partner for the upcoming 2017/2018 football season, under a multi-year deal. Juventus are one of European football’s biggest clubs and they reached the European Champions League final this season and they have won the Serie A for the past six seasons.
Black and White stripes for Betfair
Betfair will be delighted to be wearing the famous black and white stripes next season. As part of the new partnership, Betfair will be able to use the Juventus’ name and image rights in its promotional material in Italy and other markets around the world. The deal is also huge for Juventus who will be delighted to have one of Europe’s biggest sports operators collaborating with them. Juventus fans love their football and they will be able to benefit from exclusive online offers from Betfair Betfair branding will be taking over Turin as the sports operator will be helping out with the Juventus training centre and in a variety of club publications across the Italian giant’s digital channels.
Signing of the Season
As the summer transfer window gets into full swing, Juventus will be hoping to bring add some big superstars to their playing staff in the coming weeks. This sponsorship deal will get things nicely underway for the club. Juventus are very happy to have Betfair on board and Giorgio Ricci, who is Juventus co-chief revenue officer and head of global partnerships and corporate revenues has commented on the deal by stating: “This partnership fits perfectly with the club’s ambitions of global growth and confirms Juventus’ appeal to industry-leading brands around the world.” Betfair are also looking forward to the partnership getting underway as Betfair Italia country director Claudio Di Zanni added: “ We are very proud to announce this partnership with Juventus, which has in its DNA values and characteristics we think are winning in sports as well as in the business, such as prestige, leadership and ambition.”
Juventus are the most successful club in Italian football and the Turin based club have won the Serie A for the past six seasons with their explosive brand of football brushing their rivals away. Locally nicknamed “Vecchia Signora, which translates as the Old Lady, will be hoping to make it 7 league titles in a row. They will also be hoping that their stars Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain will fire them to a Champions League triumph, having gone so close this season. Betfair will be on board to back the Old Lady, whatever happens on the field.
