Resetting your Password at SuperLennyMonday, Aug 14, 2017 09:29
It happens to the best of us, we can all imagine that moment when you come back to your favourite website or visit it on a new device and go to log in just to realise that you have completely forgotten your password. What to do? Abandon ship and try to make a new account? Move to Mexico and change your name to Brian? Luckily at SuperLenny, you won’t have to do any of this, you can simply go through an easy and quick process to regain access to your account.
You don’t have to go looking for your saving grace at SuperLenny, it is right there on the front page of the website. Simply go to the top of the page and where you would normally log in to your SuperLenny account and locate the little link that says ‘Reset Password’. This is a link that will start you on your journey to accessing your account through resetting your password. Click on this and you are brought to the next page instantly.
This next page will ask you to provide the email address with which you set up your account in the first place, with this they can verify that it is actually you trying to get into your account. You will need to be logged into your email account to view the email that they sent you and follow the steps therein.
A box will pop up verifying that an email has been sent to you with instructions on how to reset your SuperLenny password. You should receive this email immediately, however, if you do not see it in your inbox then be sure to have a look in your Spam folder as sometimes your email provider will incorrectly filter out some emails into Spam.
The email should be sitting there waiting for you, and when you click it you will be greeted by the familiar style and design of the site. Read through the email to make sure that you know what is required of you and click on the password reset link. This link will bring you to the site and in particular the part of the site that will let you reset your password. The only way to this page is through an email that is sent to you so you can rest assured that it is safe and that nobody else can access this.
When you have clicked through to this page you will have to enter a new password for your account, make sure that it is something a lot more memorable than what you previously put as otherwise, you will have to go through this process again. However, it is not advisable to make it something that is too obvious such as the name of a pet or a child as anyone who looked at your Facebook page would then be able to guess that pretty easily. It is also generally not a good idea to write down your passwords even if it seems like it might be due to the same sorts of security risks.
