With the news that Mr Green recently acquired online gaming company Dansk Underholdning, the great financial news just keeps on coming for Mr Green. Revenue for the first three months of 2017 comes in at €28.7 million for the European gambling group. This healthy figure represents an increase of 26.4% on the first quarter of 2016.
There were more positive financial announcements which will please Mr Green management as earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation also jumped up to 13.4% to SEK34.2 million with a margin of 12.4%, compared to 13.8% in the same period of 2016. Mr Green have also announced that earnings per share, before and after dilution for the quarter, amounted to SEK0.53, down on SEK0.68 in 2016.
After the acquisition of Dansk Underholdning, the progress at Mr Green looks set to continue for the rest of 2017 and indeed the future of Mr Green looks like it will be very bright.
Cricket takes full bat at Mr Green
Mr Green have also recently announced the appointment of former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan as the company’s “sports gent” for Mr Green sports betting. This is a major coup for Mr Green as Michael Vaughan is a regarded as a cricket and sporting legend in the United Kingdom. Vaughan who was one of England’s most successful cricket captains will be useful to Mr Green as they hope to increase their presence in the UK online sports betting environment.
