2017-06-21 10:07:36

Bosses at the company, which is based in Halesowen, expect it to double in size in the next two years and said they were 'committed' to the town.

A Welcome Development

Ward councillors welcomed the move because 'more jobs are needed' Managing Director of Intouch Games Ltd, Simon Wilson said: "Currently we employ a workforce of 200 and we will be doubling this over the next 12 -18 months. These jobs we are creating are all highly skilled IT jobs in all aspects of programming and design. I doubt there is any company in the Midlands creating as many skilled jobs as we are."

He also said the company was committed to Halesowen as it was part of the community and was one of the town's biggest employers. Intouch develops online and mobile casino games and own casino brands mFortune and PocketWin.

Growth and Relocation!

It has enjoyed a bumper year, and in the last 18 months has increased its workforce by 228 percent. The company relocated from its former headquarters in Stourbridge last year, in order to expand its workforce. Intouch was listed by The London Stock Exchange Group as one of 1,000 companies to inspire Britain last year. Most of the jobs available will be for computer programmers and graphic designers. The recruitment drive will be launched in 2017.

Harriet Grant, the HR Manager at mFortune, said: "We are expecting to double in size again in the next 24 months, and the opportunities are endless. "From computer programming and graphic design to marketing and customer service, we're looking for people who are not only great at what they do but dynamic and enthusiastic. We want people with bags of initiative to join us on this exciting journey."

Councillor Alan Taylor, for Halesowen South, said: "The company are increasing in size, and are giving employment to local people, which is nothing but good news. It is great for the town.
"We will get more people in jobs in Halesowen, which will help the town to become more thriving. I think there is nothing wrong with gambling providing it is done right."
