Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker originated from an ancient Chinese domino game and has become a popular online game at 32Red. Pai Gow Poker is an excellent choice for players that want a challenging game that requires a good deal of skill. Of course, with all poker games a bit of luck goes a long way. Pai Gow Poker at 32Red is very user-friendly, with some excellent features that will boost entertainment levels.

How Do I Play Pai Gow Poker?

The game is played with a deck of 53 cards because the Joker is included in the game and acts as a wild card. Players are dealt 7 cards into 2 hands - one hand with 5 cards and the other with 2. The 5 card hand is called the high hand and the 2 card hand is the low hand. If both hands beat the dealer's hand you will win.

A winning hand must have combinations ranging from 5 Aces (with the Joker as a wild card) to Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Ace, King, Queen or Jack. If you and your dealer have the same hand, the dealer wins, although this is more likely to happen with your low hand and not your high hand. You will need to beat the dealer with both hands to win.

Red Dog

The aim of Red Dog is to predict whether the value of a randomly chosen card will fall between the two cards you have been already dealt.

How to Play

You start by placing an initial bet called the Ante. After this you are dealt two cards. Unless the two cards are either consecutive in value (for example an 8 and a 9) or a matching pair (such as two 7's) you have to decide whether to raise your bet or simply call for a third card. Your decision will be based on the first two cards and whether you believe the third card will fall between the first two.

The difference between the first two cards is known as the Spread. For example, if you are dealt a 5 and a 10, the Spread is 4 (the four cards in between are 6, 7, 8 and 9). If the first two cards are consecutive, there will be no third card and you get your money back. If the first two cards are a pair, a third card will be automatically dealt. If the third card matches the pair then you get paid out at 11-1! If it doesn't match you get your money back.
