Betsafe Poker - Getting Started

Firstly new customers must register an account with Betsafe on the company website. The Poker client must then be downloaded (at no cost), and the user must then choose his/her Poker Alias. Following this, the user should go to the tab ‘available bonuses’ in the top right corner of the Betsafe page. New customers can then activate their welcome bonus by entering the bonus code of their choice (see below). New customers have 30 days to activate the bonus, after which the offer will have expired.

Welcome Bonus Options

Betsafe have 5 different welcome packages to choose from, depending on your staking levels. The lowest level is a €25 bonus, using bonus code 25MGBLACK. Users must rake €5 in order to release €1 in loyalty points equivalent. The second offer is a €75 bonus, using bonus code 75MGBLACK. Users must rake €25 in order to release €5 in loyalty points equivalent. The third offer is a €250 bonus, using bonus code 250MGBLACK. Users must rake €125 in order to release €25 in loyalty points equivalent. The fourth offer is a €500 bonus, using bonus code 500MGBLACK. Users must rake €250 in order to release €50 in loyalty points equivalent. The fifth and most lucrative offer is a €1000 bonus, using bonus code 1000MGBLACK. Users must rake €500 in order to release €100 in loyalty points equivalent. All 5 Betsafe bonus offers have a 60 days expiry.

Raking In Your Betsafe Bonus

The rake is the fee that the house charges for each hand of poker. It is a percentage of the pot that is taken after each betting round. Players can start raking in their bonus by playing in any of the excellent Betsafe real-money cash games and tournaments. A percentage of your bonus will be released once you reach your chosen bonus threshold. Users can check the progress of their bonus in the Poker Client under ‘My Account’, followed by ‘My Bonuses’. Users will also earn loyalty points in the process of unlocking the bonus. 10 loyalty points are awarded for every $1 (or cash equivalent) paid in rake/tournament fees.

New Player Tournaments

Betsafe have tournaments specifically for new customers most notably the ‘€1000 New Player Freeroll’ and the ‘€888 New Player Freeroll’. These tournaments are played every week and are an excellent starting point for new Betsafe customers. The ‘€100 New Player Freeroll’ is free for all new Poker Black players that have registered within 7 days, with €1000 added to the pot. Users can find this tournament under the ‘Tournaments’ tab in the Poker Client, and then clicking on the ‘Freerolls’ tab. The ‘€888 New Player Freeroll’ has a €1 but in for all new Poker Black players registered within the previous 7 days. This tournament can be found under the ‘Tournaments’ tab in the Poker Client, and then clicking on the ‘all’ tab. Tournaments are held regularly so new customers won’t have to wait long to start playing.
