Wild Tome of the Woods features an interesting mix of symbols that are comprised of the Wizard’s animal friends. Theme, Graphics and Sound

It's no secret that Quickspin always comes up in trumps in the graphics department for their games and as expected, it is a sheer joy to look at as it takes place inside a dense green forest with lots of glowing fireflies surrounding the reels. Symbols are cartoon-like, beautifully designed, and have a wonderful hand-drawn quality to them. They consist of an Owl, a Fox, a Half Frog/Half Newt, along with an assortment of different coloured potions. The animations are crisp as symbols speed down rapidly on the reels and are highlighted by a bright orange frame when part of a win. It’s particularly exciting when the Wild Tome symbol appears as a wave of magic surrounds the reels to turn regular symbols into Wilds. It’s a very nice visual touch and further adds to the gameplay.

The music is atmospheric with lots of animal noises playing in the background. It ties in nicely with the Enchanted Forest feel of the game.

Our Verdict on Wild Tome of the Woods

Top software studio Quickspin produced this gorgeous looking game, that’s a mildly entertaining trip to a forest full of gold. Despite featuring amazing graphics and a wonderful matching soundtrack, it does not come with that many bonus features which is a real shame, to be honest. A Free Spins or Pick-Me Bonus Game would have added a lot more variety and replay value here. Having said that, the Stacked symbols do help to form plenty of wins on the reels with the Wild Tome adding lots of Wilds to the mix too. We did not manage to trigger the All Wilds feature although we did bag a nice cash prize worth 416X your bet for filling all of the reels with the Owl symbol. The top prize for this game is a fine 1,000X your wager which can be won by triggering the All Wilds feature.
