Live Three Card Poker from Evolution Gaming: Game Review - up the ante with this game!

Play the hand you're dealt and use it to your advantage to beat the dealer in this poker game!

I’ve always been a poker fan but never really tried to play another variation of it. So I visited Genting casino to check out what their version of three card poker is all about. This version of poker is one of the most profitable table games ever so I was quite intrigued to play it. The premise behind this variation of poker is that you need to get a better poker hand than the dealer with the three cards which are dealt to you.

The game is played with a standard 52 card deck and features a nice selection of bet options to choose from.

Special Features

The object of this game is to beat the dealer with a better three card hand. The player receives three cards and the dealer’s three cards are dealt face down. The cards are reshuffled after each round. Players place an Ante bet and can also place optional Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus bets.

There is a multitude of ways of getting a winning hand in Three Card Poker. For instance, three card straight has a higher value ranking than a three card flush in this game and this is because there are fewer ways to make a three-card straight than a three card flush. Individual cards are ranked in descending order from Ace all the way down to the number 2. An Ace can be the highest value card in a straight of Ace, King, Queen or the lowest value card in a straight of 3, 2, Ace.

Winning hands for this game include; Mini Royal, Straight Flush, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Pair, High Card, Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, and Full House. It is also worth noting that if you place a Play bet and get a Straight Flush, Three of a Kind or Straight on your initial three cards then you will receive an Ante Bonus even if the dealer wins the round. Similarly, if you place an optional Pair Plus bet then you win according to the paytable with a Pair or better on your three cards, even if you fold and the dealer wins the round. Not bad consolation prizes there at all if you ask me especially when the dealer wins a round.

Theme, Graphics and Sound

The game is streamed wonderfully in glorious high definition format. The setting of the game replicates a brick and mortars type casino superbly and it really does feel like you are inside a real casino as soon as the dealer starts placing some cards on the table.

The dealer of this game was called Laura and she was an excellent host as she chatted to players and answered lots of questions about poker. She was really nice to talk to and this created a nice friendly atmosphere for which to play the game.

Win lines, Payouts and Jackpots
