The first thing that struck me about this game is that the reels fall down like an avalanche effect and this is called the Swooping Reels feature. It is very cool and definitely stands out from normal slot-based games as winning symbols fly away from the screen to be replaced by new ones. It also enables you to win time and time again after just one spin! Great!!

Big Bad Wolf has a unique approach when it comes to using Wild symbols. There are the normal Wild symbols in this game which are Beehives but the 3 pigs can also turn wild after winning a certain number of rounds. For example, the first pig will turn wild after you win twice, the second pig after winning two more times and the third pig after six times. It can get confusing to follow but help is at hand as there is a handy meter on the top of the reels showing you exactly how many wins are needed to turn each pig wild.

You can also obtain ten free spins by finding 3 or more Wolf Scatter symbols anywhere across the reels. These spins can be retriggered by landing 3 or more of these scatters during the Free Spins feature.

My favourite feature of this game is definitely Blowing Down the House. If you find 3 Moon symbols then the Wolf will blow down the wooden house and you will be given 2 additional spins. If you find 6 Moon symbols then the Wolf will blow down the brick house and you will receive 2 bonus spins along with a 2X multiplier!

Theme, Graphics and Sound

The game is visually very impressive and really does evoke childhood memories of this famous fairytale. The graphics are cute and colourful and I really enjoyed seeing the swooping reels whenever I clicked the Spin button.

There is not much to say about the music except that the sound effects are spot on and each time a symbol hits the floor of the house, the “thud” sound is quite satisfying to hear!
