The agreement sees Svenska Spel continue its systems partnership with IGT for a further seven years (partnership started 1996).

IGT will now move to upgrade Svenska Spel systems for Video Lottery Terminals, site controllers, game services and centralised management functions.

Walter Bugno Chief Executive of IGT International was pleased to upgrade the firm’s legacy partnership with Svenska Spel, stating
“This contract will help to ensure that Svenska Spel continues to responsibly grow and remain competitive in a rapidly changing marketplace. It will help to increase player engagement, ensure the long-term sustainability of their offering, and provide a safe gaming experience for their players, which is the cornerstone of Svenska Spel’s program.”

“Throughout the last two decades, we’ve successfully supported and enhanced Svenska Spel’s approach to protecting players while creating advanced solutions to meet their business objectives,”

IGT governance was pleased to continue its recent form of global lottery services and provisions renewals. Entering 2017 IGT has confirmed that it has secured and renewed services agreements with Loto-Qubec (Canada), Coljuegos (Colombia) and Loterie Suisse Romande (Switzerland).
