This game is based on the book of Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. It focuses on a man called Alonso Quixano as he goes under the guise of Don Quixote de la Mancha who is a chivalrous knight out to undo wrongs and bring justice to the world. The book is known as one of the greatest works of fiction ever and it is mind boggling to think that this book was published way back in the 17th century! The character is extremely popular in Spain as you can imagine, so much so that there is a fine statue of him riding a horse in Madrid!

Special Features
The first feature to mention is the Wild symbol, it is denoted by a curved windmill. It substitutes for all other symbols except the Scatter symbol and it is the highest paying symbol in the game. Theme, Graphics and Sound
The game is a fine tribute to this famous book and the presentation of it is second to none. There are windmills turning in the background with clouds overhead and it is animated superbly. The symbols range from Don Quixote, a helmet, a shield, Don Quixote's lover, Dulcina, and his hapless servant Sancho. They run sleekly along the reels and sparkle nicely when you land a winning combination on the reels. In particular, I enjoyed how Dulcina transformed her clothes into a wedding dress or when the Windmill shoots out a gust of wind when you land a win.
The music is great and full of soft Spanish guitar sounds. It suits the game really well.

The Riches of Don Quixote is made by Playtech and it’s a nice tribute to a classic book.
